Living Vicariously Through Wes Anderson

I love books. I love reading books. I love picture-walking books. 'Picture-walk' is a term I learned from Sloane when she was a tiny tot and would sit enthralled just flipping through beautiful books with great imagery.

Now, onto Wes Anderson, undoubtedly one of my all-time favorite film directors. I think his films are hugely entertaining and pure eye candy (Life Aquatic, Moonrise Kingdom, The Royal Tenenbaum’s). I follow an Instagram page called Accidentally Wes Anderson that features quirky, amazing, and inspiring places around the globe that make me want to go there. Talk about WANDERLUST!!!!!! Thanks to Wally Koval (the author).

For Christmas, I received the Accidentally Wes Anderson coffee table book, and it is the most picture-walking, wanderlust-inducing book of all time for me. I will borrow the introduction to the book here, written by Wes Anderson:

That’s precisely what the great photographs in the book convey; they trigger the urge to get out of your chair, pack a light bag, simply go. Wanderlust is about adventure and the desire to experience new places.
